Dhoni and Sehwag have differences

There is certain smugness about Indian cricket that financial brawn work better than brains. So much so that instead of putting Sehwag through the fitness check scanner, the administrators simply went by the word of the player who in his part guilty of hiding his injury. If BCCI is having any sense at all, should be warning Sehwag for hiding his injury and give an example for the other players, some disciplinary measure should have been taken to avert him from doing so in future. But it is most unlikely to happen in Indian cricket as most of the cricketers are bigger than the game itself.
In Sehwag’s case BCCI has taken a stand to count all Sehwag’s talent, experience and record to wash off his guiltiness that he did to such an extend to pollute the team atmosphere in dressing room.
Sehwag has been a prolific batsman who gets runs in any surface that too in no time, agreed, but he should have set a good example by opting out from the T20 World Cup by admitting his injury that got struck in IPL. I am assuming Sehwag was little scared of the media for blaming him playing for money in IPL without looking after his fitness, where more important match is ahead to represent hi country. When he knew he was not fit for cricket, Sehwag should have done a favor to the Indian cricket team by opting out rather than going to England with the team and make unnecessary dispute with the captain.
Dhoni was furious for a million reasons, no captain worth his salt will tolerate a player who is so important in team planning and strategy hides his injury. This is the lone reason Dhoni had to have verbal fight with Sehwag, by knowing the attitude of Sehwag he will never step behind when a fight brake out, putting forward all his own reasons to contradict the view of captain and team.
Dhoni also need to be blamed partially for his childish behavior with Indian media. Rather than fighting with the journalists to show the world how he fought with Sehwag in the dressing room and distributing embarrassingly nursery quality piece of paper with nasty handwriting to reveal how bad his own hand writing is, he would have drew more dignity by coming clean on this issue with a proper press meet with calm and cool temperament.
Nobody shed tears after they learnt Viru is departing from England but only one player! He is none other than Rohit Sharma, ironically it was the tears of joy. He get chance to open the batting without any pressure or threat, and till now when this writer is typing this article; he has been doing marvelous job with the bat in opening slot. Grabbing the opportunity with both hands in absolute greediness.
Now Dhoni had revealed great news for the millions of Indian cricket fans that he is not planning to come at no.3 throughout the tournament. It seems like one of his thousands of experiments gone badly wrong. Good thing is he realized it before it gets too late.
The lack of openness, players being unapproachable and unprofessional ways of dealing the media, lack of BCCI’s insights all contributed the shadowy scenario that you find beneath the glossy and polished surface. Now the tempest has settled down, not many damages are done as everyone in opposition had expected. Let’s start a smooth and comfortable run in T20 World Cup especially after entering in super eight with 100% success rate!

Dhoni's personal life

Dhoni's Captaincy Jalwa

1) Dhoni was recommended for captaincy by Sachin Tendulkar. In 2007, when Rahul Dravid resigned as Test and ODI captain, Sachin Tendulkar was offered captaincy by the board of selectors and Sharad Pawar, but Sachin politely refused and said, "Give it to someone like Dhoni". The Board agreed.
2) Team India went on to win the inaugural T20 cricket World Cup 2007

7) Under his captaincy, India beat Sri Lanka for the second time to clinch the IDBI Fortis Wealthsurance Cup ODI series 2009 (4-1) and the only Twenty20 International, the first Twenty20 International match held in Sri Lanka. This is the second straight series win for Team India in Sri Lanka.
8) On the Indian tour of New Zealand in 2009, under his captaincy Team India created history by clinching their first ever ODI series win in New Zealand, the National Bank Series 2009. Team India have comfortably won the 5 match ODI series (3-1) with an ODI being abandoned due to rain. However Team India had lost the two Twenty20 International matches to the hosts.
9) Also the Team won the 3 Test National Bank Series 2009 series (1-0) with the two Test matches drawn. The victory in the Test series was India's first in New Zealand since 1967-68. In this series, Dhoni had led the team in the first and the last matches, and because of his injury, the second Test was captained by his deputy Virender Sehwag.
10) M.S. Dhoni is the first Indian Captain to achieve nine consecutive ODI wins (between 14/11/2008 and 05/02/2009). Earlier the record of having eight consecutive ODI wins were owned by Sunil Gavaskar (5)- Kapil Dev (3), Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid.
11) Previous captains Anil Kumble and Sourav Ganguly have said that under Dhoni India will reach greater heights and even all time great Richard Hadlee said that "Under Dhoni, India will become the world no.1 team" and he also said that by this 2-0 win that the Australian dominance in the cricket world had finally come to an end.
12) As a farewell gift to former Indian captain, Saurav Ganguly who was set to retire after the Nagpur test against Australia, Dhoni asked Saurav Ganguly to lead the team for one last time towards the end of the Australian innings in the last test at Nagpur.
13) Dhoni has already been compared to Australia's Steve Waugh for his captaincy skills. In the battle of nerves, the mental toughness accompanied with the cool temperament exhibited by Dhoni just resembles the times of Steve Waugh’s leadership.
14) During the ODI Series 2009 in Sri Lanka, Dhoni had equalled the record of Zimbabwe's Andy Flower who has also played 46 ODIs in both roles of Wicket Keeper/Captain.
15) Out of the 7 Test matches played under Dhoni's captaincy, the Team India has won 5 of them and 2 drawn, thus making him a winning percentage of 71.42%. This has created a record which states that: Out of 289 players, who have captained their respective sides in Test cricket, only nine have remained unbeaten after leading their sides in five or more matches, of which Dhoni is the only one current players in this elite list.

Dhoni and Deepika

Dhoni's Link Up With Deepika Padukone

The Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has opened his mouth for the first time in regards to the speculation whether he is dating Deepika Padukone or not. It’s the first time ever that Dhoni has agreed that he is making rounds to make Deepika Padukone as his real girlfriend.
Dhoni has received a lot of appreciation for his long hair cut, however on his short hair he commented that he wanted to try something different and that’s the reason he cut his hair. Well, he stresses that’s it nothing special. But we are yet to find out the reason behind his sudden change.
After winning the Twenty20 world cup, the team met the Indian president Pratibha Patil. This was the occasion when he addressed the press and clarified his moves. His name is being linked with the beautiful actress of the forthcoming film “Om Shanti Om”. His hair cut after the link up has raised a lot of questions amongst the masses.
When asked about Deepika Padukone, Dhoni added that it was the first time in his life that he is trying to befriend a girl and the same seems to be the case with Deepika Padukone. There were loads of questions asked about excluding the former captain Rahul Dravid from the first two One Day matches against Pakistan, but the present skipper denied answering all questions about the same.
